How to describe being hit by an arrow In a story?

The hero in my story has just been hit by an arrow in the leg during a battle. Because I have no experience with anything like this I don't know how to describe it at all, I am blanking out completely. How do you think being hit by an arrow would feel? Is it a sharp hot burning or a dull throbbing. Would there be lots of blood? Could you pull it out without injuring yourself further? Would it leave a big scar? Help please!

VPN is (Virtual Private Network) were first used by companies to enable their employees to securely access internal systems such as email remotely (e.g. from home or while on business trips). Today they are increasingly being used for personal use by individuals to protect their privacy while online in public places (e.g. when using the wi-fi connection in a cafe) or in a country where the internet is censored / blocked (e.g. China, Saudi Arabia…).
